Catalina 12 step Conference
What is the Catalina Conference?
The Catalina Conference is a 12-step event organized by Al-Anons for Al-Anons. This conference offers us the opportunity to unplug and step away from the daily distractions of the mainland, so we can immerse ourselves into a weekend focused on spiritual growth, joy, forgiveness, healing, gratitude, meditation and celebrating today. Whether you're seeking to strengthen your spiritual journey or simply want to connect with fellow Al-Anons, our conference provides a supportive and uplifting environment to make that possible. Many of us have created long lasting and lifetime friendships from this conference and return each year to reconnect and renew for another year
What do we do at the Conference?
The Catalina Conference is held at Campus by the Sea (CBS), which is a private facility on Catalina Island. You will experience a weekend of fellowship and serenity. The agenda is packed with inspiring speakers, a 12-step workshop, meditations, entertainment / skits, and additional workshops designed to deepen your understanding of the Al-Anon principles that guide us to find relief if the Alcoholic is still drinking or not. Beyond the structured events, you will have plenty of time on Saturday for fellowship, activities, and personal reflection. The private facility provides many activities, from hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, fishing, ping pong, pickle-ball, or to just relax and take in the breathtaking ocean views
